What is Flight Training Like?
All of our training is done on a one-on-one basis. The most normal schedule is to fly 2-3 times per week with the average session taking 3 hours. The setup will be catered to you so if you are able to fly only certain days and times then we will work with your schedule as much as possible. Training sessions normally consist of a 30 min pre-brief, a 1.5 hour flight, and a 30 min de-brief.

Javelin Air Services Flight Funds Program Welcome Thank you for taking the time to explore the Javelin Flight Funds Program and what it can do for you. This document provides a brief overview of the program, though each agreement between Javelin Aviation Services LLC (JAS) and our Trainees and flight schools is customized to meet all of our mutual needs. The Javelin Flight Funds Program is a tuition assistance program that not only helps new pilots go through their training to achieve their ratings as commercial, multiengine and instrument pilots, but also provides a pathway to future employment through the Javelin Contract Pilot Program. About Us Javelin Aviation Services LLC is an aviation consulting company that offers support services, recruiting services and consultancy services to organizations worldwide. Our Javelin Flight Funds Program is designed to address the high cost of aviation training and to meet our own need to establish a pool of qualified commercial for our contracts. The Program With Javelin, everything starts with the Javelin Flight Funds Program. This program allows us to ensure that we select, guide and work with qualified, expert pilots that best meet our needs. In return, we offer tuition assistance to address the costly nature of aviation training. Our Flight Funds Program lowers the cost barrier for those seeking to become commercial pilots by matching up to half of the training costs through a program tailored to the needs of student pilots. For example, for a prospective pilot entering a two year training program costing $45,000, Javelin will provide up to half the required funds. The funds are sent directly to the flight training facility chosen by the trainee and placed in the flight school's account specifically for their use. Payments are made in advance of any training thus preventing the training facility from incurring any float or having to extend any credit to the student pilot. Concurrently, we work with the student and flight school to safeguard the student's investment in their training and help ensure that they achieve their goals.
The The benefits of this program are many – both for the student pilot and for the flight training provider. Through Javelin's program, flight schools have effectively lowered their price point by 50% without sacrificing any profit. They can attract students more easily and generate more revenue since more students can afford to attend. This also works to the benefit of the student pilot who may face a nearly insurmountable cost barrier for flight training of upwards of $60,000 or more. With Javelin Flight Funds, they see their overall cost cut in half – to a more reasonable level of $30,000 (in this example). Since our program pays the training costs in advance, the flight school never sees a negative balance in the students account and never has collections problems. The flight school can concentrate on their core business of providing high quality flight training. Similarly, for the students in our program, they can focus on a regular, systematic flight training schedule – our payments are contracted in equal monthly amounts over the duration of the two year period. Javelin's program is not for everyone, yet it is also highly competitive. This program opens the door to literally thousands of students who have some but not all of the funds required to complete their training. This creates an avenue to a pilot career that was otherwise inaccessible to a wide range of prospective students who cannot afford to get started on their chosen career field. For flight schools, this opens the door to flight training to a virtually untapped market of new students who would otherwise either never start or would later be forced to quit due to lack of funds. So how does Javelin make its money? Javelin initially gets paid a small management fee by the investors to administer the program. Later, our newly graduated, entry level commercial pilots serve as a way for us to assist aviation companies with their pilot recruiting and contract pilot needs. We also offer our contract operatosr other services such fuel hedging, aircraft leasing and leaseback operations and crew leasing. As pilots gain experience, Javelin profits with crew leasing programs and employment placement programs. We also take a brokering fee for type ratings and other recurrent support to the operators themselves. The placement fee is paid by the operator and, with today's average pilot earning between $1.2 to $4 million dollars over the course of their career, this equates to $60,000 to $400,000 per pilot over a full career term for those pilots who remain in the Javelin family of programs. Get Started Today!
Our programs are the very definition of a low risk, If you are a flight school and would like to gauge interest in our programs, please consider putting up a few of our Javelin posters on your bulletin board. You will soon find that the students are expressing real interest in getting started.
